I am so happy to get this done. A tad bit late, I really wanted to have it done for this Easter but it's done in plenty of time for next Easter.
I also want to welcome and thank Shar from Sharlene's Stitchings for becoming my 43rd follower.
Happy Stitching

Easter Blessings is Almost Done
I was so happy to sit and stitch today. I miss it so much and even thou school is great, I can't wait for it to be over so I can get back to my Cross Stitch full time. LOL. Looking at the picture I found a big mistake, not sure if you can see it, but the cross is not centered. So I need to pull it all out and start over. UGH!!!

Snow Bird
Life just gets busier and busier. But it's a good busy. School is going great and I can't believe it's week 3 already. It's a 3 hour class once a week but then I have a good 6 to 8 hours of homework.
Not much stitching has gotten done. I did a fast little project called Snow Birds by OakHeaven on Cyber Stitchers.
On Friday, I went down to see Harry. He is out of the hospital and back in a Group Home with 24 hour hospice. He is stable and seems to be getting stronger again. :)
I also got to see my Niece Tristan and her Daughter Mattie. They are a riot to be around. I look at Mattie and see so much of her mother in her. It brings back such wonderful memories when Tristan was a baby.
We went to downtown Glendale to look at some of the antique stores and had a blast.
I finally got my insurance company to approve my iron and antibiotic iv treatments. I talked to a good 20 people just to get to the right place. I just don't get why they me gave such a hard time. I have had to have these treatments since the early 90's. But I guess they wanted to see how bad my heath would get without them. (Jerk's) Hopefully, when the next time comes up for more treatments, they will just approve and not fight me on them.
Hope everyone has a great week and gets lots and lots of stitching in.

Will I Ever Find Time to Stitch Again ????
These last 2 weeks have been so busy that I can't even find time to stitch. I hope today will be different so I can sit and relax (which means stitch)
Yesterday, Roger had his right eye operated on. We were told the surgery went really really good. Even thou his eye is still all red and his pupil looks like the size of his eye. LOL, he can already see out of it. He keeps saying how everything is so bright. All the colors are bright and pretty. He is able to walk around the house now and not bump into the wall or step on a cat toy. It so cool to watch him look at things.....
While Roger was in surgery, I ran next door to CVS and Walgreens and did some coupon shopping. I have been working so hard to save money and get some cool things that we normally can't afford. This seems to be my new hobby. LOL, I feel like doctor appointments and coupons have taken over my life.
I picked up all these items. Retail price was $189.63, I had $126.38 in coupons and card savings, so the total I paid was $63.25. That's a 66.64% savings over all. Not to bad, but I hope to do better next time I hit the stores.
