Bird Watching and A Finish

Frasier and I did a bit of bird watching this morning.  His little baby birds just started to fly this morning.  He has been keeping a close eye on them since they were born.  They are just way to cute, and of course I love the look Frasier get on his face when they fly close by the window.

Niles was up to no good also this morning.  Every Monday morning,  I prepare Frasier's meds for the week and for some reason,  Niles just had to be in the middle of it all.  Can you see the evil look on his face.  LOL.
Since Frasier woke me up at 7am,  I had time to get America The Beautiful Done.  I am not sure how to finish it yet,  but I will hand it over to my Niece Tristan and let her figure it out.
Off to go do the lunch dishes and then see if I can get some stitching in.  I just have to figure out what I want to do next.
Hope you all have or had a great day!!!

New Start - America The Beautiful

I got a few stitches in today.  Both cats were pretty feisty and were getting into anything and everything.  I love days like these.
Hubby and I watch "Conviction"  I highly recommend it.

Here's one of the little reasons why I didn't get more done.  LOL
Have you ever dried yourself off with a towel and gotten a face full of fur????  Now I know why.

Tomorrow is my running around day to find as many cheap items as I can.  So I won't have time to stitch,  but maybe Monday.

Peace

Frasier is doing much better.  Poor thing really hates those drops.  When he gets his teeth cleaned they will do a deep ear cleaning at the same time.  Hopefully that will help with some of the ear infections.  When we first adopted Frasier,  he was infested with ear mites.  It took 6 months to clear his ears up.  I am not sure if being deaf causes ear infections for him or if he is just prone to them.  But we keep a close eye on his ears to make sure we catch any infection early.
Thank you everyone for your comments about Frasier.  He is my baby, well both cats are my babies but Frasier tends to be the fragile one when it comes to heath issues.

I also got in bit more stitching and finished the PEACE ornament.  I really like how it turned out and can't wait to figure out how to finish it.
I Hope Everyone Has A Great Weekend !!!!!

I Finished Moon and Stars

Woo Hoo !!!  It's all done and now my Niece will make it into a pillow for Harry.  He will be so excited to see it finished.

Our deaf cat Frasier has not been feeling well the last couple of days.   He has another bad ear infection,  which is common for him.  Yesterday he was so unhappy with the drops that I put in his ear that he made himself sick.  Daddy had to lay down on the bed with him and take a nap.  LOL

More Progress on Moon and Stars

This has turned into a slow going project  but I can't set it aside,  I really want to get it done and have my Niece sew it into a pillow.

Harry is still holding his own which I am happy about.  If he is able to recover, we all know it's going to be a long road ahead of him.  He is in great spirits and has become very demanding,  which tells me he is feeling better.  I am going down to Phoenix every 3rd day now.  Yesterday I spent the whole day cooking and cleaning and today I plan on stitching and watching some netflix if I can get the cats off my lap.

Have a great Day.

Progress on Moon and Stars

The weeks are flying by......  Life has really been a total blurrrrr........

Harry sure has had his ups and down.  He has been home from the hospital for a little over a week now and is getting better and better.  I have figured out that it's the hospital and lack of care that he is getting that is really killing him.  The hospital just does not have the staff to see to all his needs.  We were told by the Dr's that he was no longer able to swallow and that they would not put in a feeding tube.   I had lost all hope he would get better and I couldn't even think or feeling anything knowing that they were just going to let him starve to death.

Once he got back to the home,  you could see him relax and you could tell he was happy to see the staff there.  I started putting tiny pieces of watermelon in his mouth and all of a sudden he swallowed.  Scared the crap out of me,  I didn't want him to choke or for food to go into his lungs.  But he really swallowed and I knew the Dr's were wrong yet again.

Yesterday,  was his best day yet.  He is eating full meals now.  He still is not able to feed himself,  but that will come in the next couple of weeks.  He started talking again and I can't tell you how much I missed his voice.

Meanwhile Roger (DH) finally got his glasses and I am so excited for him.  His vision has improved so much and for now we have decided against the last surgery.  The risks are way to high at this point and we are going to wait and see what the future brings.  Meanwhile,  he is able to see the TV so much better and he is able to see the computer.  All the stress we have been thru,  all the money,  everything that he has been thru has been worth it and really worked out for him.

I also found a few hours to do some stitching.  It really is a big stress reliever.  I can't wait till things calm down and I can stitch a few hours a day.

TUSAL For June

Not much change,  I did mash it down a bit and there is some blue added.
