Cuddle Up Snowman

I have just enough time for a quick post before I have to dash out the door for a Dr's appt.   I don't get why you have to go in just for tests results.

Yesterday I finished my 1st of 3 snowman.  Looks like it takes a good 5 days of stitching to get one done. So hopefully it will be done in the next 2 weeks.

Yesterday we had such a big thunderstorm,  it was so wonderful.  However poor Niles was not thrilled at all.  I made him a little place to hide and he went back and forth from my lap to the hiding place.
Time to get ready and get out the door.  Have a Great Day and Thanks for Stopping by.

I started working another one of my Crazy Jan. Challenges.  There is not enough done to really get a good picture of it posted but maybe by tomorrow.

Last night my Niece called me and told me she is stuck in one of the worst dust storms she has ever seen.  They are no fun when you are on the highway going 55 miles an hour.  I just saw in the news that they are calling both of the dust storms haboob's.  After the dust storm came, there was just enough rain to make it a nice mud rain.  She is not happy about having to wash her car 2 weekends in a row from all the dirt.

Up here in Chino Valley,  We have had 2 straight days of Thunderstorms (which I love) and rain on and off (which I love).

Hubby and I have been going back and forth on if we should move back down to Phoenix to be closer to Harry and of course My Niece and Grand Niece.  The weather and the dust are the 2 things that are keeping us away.  So we will have to think more about it.

Have a Great Day E1

A New Christmas Finish

Holy cow,  I have 52 followers.  I am so excited !!!!  I never thought I would hit that 50 mark.  I really love all the comments that are made and all advice I have gotten just from comments or reading posts.

I got a cute little weekend project stitched up.  I have no clue how to finish this one,  I think I will hand this one over to my niece and let her figure it out.  Her sewing machine broke on her so she will have to think of something else to do.  Meanwhile I am trying to save up and get her a new one.  Hopefully I will be able to do it by Christmas which I know she will be thrilled to get another one.

That's the last of my easy projects to do.  Now I really need to buckle down and work on the more involved ones.  Wish me luck,  I am so going to need it.

Update on Harry -- Good news.  He is eating like a horse now. (Woo Hoo)  I am waiting for his Son to set up some PT for him,  But meanwhile,  I will feed him his soup but make him drink and eat his sandwich or pretzel sticks on his own.  He is really able to move his arms around again which I didn't think that would happen again.  After his lunch and a short nap,  He is carried out to a nice comfy lazy boy chair out in the living room where he can talk with the other residents and watch a movie.  He is still dealing with the dementia on and off.  As he gets stronger it seems to get better.  Each day is something new to battle but it's all worth it.  His Grandson Matt have been visiting him more often and that thrills Harry to no end and give me a wonderful break to get some other things done.

Hope you all have a wonderful week.

Finished Cat On Pumpkin

Another Finish,  I am so happy....  This was a fun and fast project.  I am not sure how I will finish this but I am just thinking about a simple frame.

I was also able to get out 2 RAK's this week.  One is on it's way to Chez in South Africa and the other is on the way to Gracie in Phoenix, AZ.  I hope they get there safe and sound.  Hopefully,  I will get 2 or 3 more out next month.

Off to go read some blogs and play on pogo and get my badges done for the week.

Progress on Cat On A Pumpkin

I started working on another one of my 15 projects.  I have little faith that they will all get done.  But I am determined to get as much as I can.  I hope to have this one done in the next day or two.  Knock on wood !!!

Live Tree Finished

I love being able to find time to stitch.  Harry has been doing pretty good and I am able to find sometime to hide and stitch.
This project is for a wonderful lady that I met at the cancer center.  Her name is Arlene and she has amazed me with how brave she is.  She lost her husband to cancer in December and then found out she had breast cancer just a couple of months later.  She had a mastectomy and has gone thru 4 rounds of chemo all by herself with very little help.  The whole time she never stopped smiling even thru the tears of dealing with her loss. Never once has she ever felt sorry for herself.  I hope she will like this and can't wait for her to see it and tell me what she thinks.

TUSAL for Aug

And A Sweet Picture of Frasier
Everyday at 10am and 10pm,  Frasier has to take his heart meds.  Since he is deaf,  I have to sign to him to come and get his meds and of course right after he gets treats.  He is always excited about his treats.  This is a cat the lives to eat 24/7.  Today for some reason,  he was totally lazy and refused to even lift his head up.  So of course he got his meds and treats in bed.  Can anyone say SPOILED !!!

News and A New Start

A little while back I won this great giveaway from Denise at River Side Stitching I won all these wonderful wooden spools and they arrived a couple of days ago.  The picture is not so great,  but they are beautiful.  I have to admit that I have no clue what to do with them but my Niece is totally thrilled and can't wait to get her hands on them.  I am excited to see what she is going to do with them.
Thank You again Denise you really made my day and my Niece's day with these.

Yesterday,  I found a great hiding place.  Shhhhh.....  I started this new project which I love.  It's called the Live Tree.  This is going to be for a lady that I met at the AZ Oncology Center when I went to have an iron IV.  She just finished her last round of chemo and is doing very good.

Meanwhile,  the boys are wonderful.  We have this little wild bunny that keeps visiting us in the evening.  He has a hurt back leg but can still run away.  So I hope it stays safe.  The cats love watching it and I am setting out carrots and water since its so dry up here.

Frasier is a always a ham for the camera.

I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful 4th of July
