I am amazed at how fast this year has past and we are about to celebrate another Thanksgiving. And of course Hanukkah and Christmas are right around the corner. What a fun and busy time of year this is for all of us. I remember last year how much fun it was reading everyone's blogs and I am excited to see what everyone has going on this holiday season.
I have been busy baking and trying to make gluten free goodies. Yesterday after a couple of try's I made a pumpkin bread and a sweet potato bread. I had DH try them and he said he couldn't tell the difference between real pumpkin bread and gluten free. So I am pretty excited that I am starting to figure out how to cook gluten free and not miss out on all the good tasting food.
Meanwhile, I have been putting in a little bit of time stitching. I really want to finish this project but all the blue is starting to make me go a bit crazy. I may need to take another break and work on another project.
I can't think of anything else to post about. so I will just say......
Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Stitching to Everyone !!!!
Linda
Wow! THAT is a lot of blue!! Not even a pretty blue either but a dark one! I would be going crazy too! But! It is looking good! Coming along great!!
ReplyDeleteCooking gluten free during the holidays can be hard. I have celiac disease so can't eat gluten. I found out almost 2 years ago. I redid my great grandmother's banana bread recipe into gluten free last year, it was a big hit! :)
ReplyDeleteThat is a lot of blue!! I think I would have thrown it in a corner by now, lol. Good luck with it!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving to you too, Linda. Enjoy a gluton-free day of fun!
ReplyDeleteHappy Turkey day, wishing you some time to sit and stitch after dinner.
