Moon and Stars
Another week gone by..... The news on Harry is to sad to even write about. I did get a few hours of stitching done this weekend and I just got back from the craft store with more blue.
I hope everyone had a great Memorial Day Weekend.

Update on Moon and Star's
Another week gone by and boy did it go fast. Harry is back in the hospital and nobody can figure out why or what's going on. He has stopped eating and just wants to sleep. All sorts of tests are being run and everything keeps coming back normal.
Roger had his last eye surgery and is doing great. Before the surgery he was not even able to make out the big E and now with glasses he will be able to see 20/30. I am so excited for him. We have to go down to Phoenix on Friday for another eye exam and get his glasses ordered.
Meanwhile, I have gotten a bit more done on Moon and Star's. I really need to work faster on this but for whatever reason doing the blue keeps putting me to sleep. I'm not sure if it's the sewing or all the stress???

New Start - Moon and Stars
Phew, Another busy week gone and I am sure tomorrow will start another one.
Harry is doing pretty good. He is able to sit up almost by himself now. The bed sores are healing well and we were even able to carry him out to the living room so he could sit in a comfy lazy boy chair and chat with some of the other residents. I am so happy to see him start to recover from this latest ordeal.
While in Phoenix visiting with Harry, I started a new project that Harry really likes. So after its all done, I will have to find someone to make it into a pillow for me. Here is what I have done so far on it.
Also, it's been a little over a week and a half since DH, Roger has had his last eye surgery, he is doing great and is seeing better each day. One eye is at a 20/20 and his bad eye is a 20/30 with glasses and I am so thrilled.
I think the cats have missed me since Niles wouldn't move when it was time for me to do some coupon shopping, Can you see the dirty look on his face that says "Don't You Dare Leave" LOL
I hope you all have a great week at stitching.

TUSAL For May
I know, I know, My TUSAL is late again.
Harry, who many of you know now that he is my foster Dad, took a very bad turn for the worse on Wednesday. I got a call from his Hospice DR and then from the Chaplin and was told he only had a matter of hours to live. Roger and I raced down to Phoenix and made it in about 90 mins instead of the 2 hour drive. When I walked in his room, I knew right away that he was yet again misdiagnosed. His doctor tried to point out that he had the death rattle breathing and I knew it was from congestion. They also informed me that he had been unresponsive for almost 2 days and was not going to wake up, but I could tell from the color of his urine that he had a sever UTI and he also had a fever of 104. We called 911 right away and had him transported back to the hospital. The ER gave him narcan which helped him wake up. I found out that he was overdosed with morphine and yes had a sever UTI, Thats all that is pretty much wrong at this point other then age. Yesterday, Harry was released and is now back at the group home where they will help him get his strength back. What a roller coaster!! Roger and I have been driving back and forth everyday and today I am going to stay home and get caught up on some housework and laundry.
The cats are not very happy with us and today will be spent cleaning and spoiling them so I can go back down to Phoenix tomorrow. I hope maybe to just go down every other day but we will see.
Time to go read some blogs. I hope everyone has a great week and gets lots of stitching in.
