CJC Day 7 -- Hearts and Birds -- I need some opinions on this one

I drove down to Phoenix to see my foster sisters kids, they leave for CA tomorrow and I won't get to see them again till summer. I totally miss them already. We met my Niece Tristan and the baby Mattie at the indoor swap meet and we had a great time just walking and looking around.

I started a new pattern called Hearts and Birds from the cross stitchers club and
I am wondering if I sure use the multi colored thread. So what do you all think? I have a feeling it might make it look prettier. So let me know since I can pull out the few stitches and start it over.

I really love to see any comments and suggestions

    I like the contrast of the white thread on the darker background. But I would use a different color for the birds.

    I like Teresa's suggestion. It would look great with white and then some striking colour for the birds. :)
