Happy National Penguin Awareness Day !!!
Penguins are my favorite animal. When I was in the 3rd grade, I came down with a bad case of scarlet fever. I missed almost the entire year of school. My hair was shaved off, my room was stripped. I couldn't have friends over or see anyone. I don't remember most of that time, I was way to sick but the one thing I do remember is that Penguins would come in and take care of me. LOL, I must have had a high fever at the time. Ever since then, I have adored, loved and been in awe of penguins. So I love this day. ReplyDeleteI was thinking maybe nuns were helping take care of you. I was always in awe of their habits. Even wanted to be a nun, wasn't Catholic then. I have a daughter that loves them. She stitched some when she was a teen, hmmm wonder what happened to that piece?
